What has the weather got to do with DMK?

Proteins in January

After the festive season in December, it is time for New Year's resolutions. Everyone wants to shed those extra winter pounds and reach for protein-rich products such as cottage cheese, especially in January.

Spring fever

When strawberries are on sale for Mother's Day, sales of cream also increase. Strawberry cakes, tarts and many desserts now go well with plenty of cream.

Long-awaited asparagus season

Here’s a question: How do you eat your asparagus? Hollandaise sauce is a must, of course. We need lots of butter for that too!

Ice cream, baby!

With the first rays of sunshine, DMK's ice cream sales go up. Milk-based flavours are the top sellers.

It's BBQ time... finally!

Meat, fish, vegan schnitzels, vegetables - just before summer, everything goes on the barbecue. In addition to the many sauces for barbecues, MILRAM GewürzQuark is often found in various flavours.

Cool down in summer

On hot days, people look forward to a fruity cool-down and reach for refreshing buttermilk. You can set your watch by it! Rain and cold, on the other hand, mean that buttermilk disappears from the shopping basket.

More frost, more fat!

Cheese sales increase when the temperature drops to 10ºC or below. Fondue, raclette, pizza and casseroles are the autumn and winter equivalents of barbecues. The home becomes a place for socialising and spending time with family and friends.

Bring on the winter!

As the days get shorter, summer becomes but a memory and sweaters are back on permanent display, we long for rituals: baking cookies, for example. Butter sales pick up again.
