The Green Pilot
DMK takes stock at the conclusion of Net Zero Farming and shows how dairy farming can become more climate-friendly step by step.

What does climate-friendly agriculture mean? How can it be implemented on farms? And what does it take to make it work? After three years, the Net Zero Farming pilot project has come to an end. Together with selected dairy farms, DMK tested various approaches to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. These included, among other things, new feeding concepts and optimised farm management practices.
The insights gained provide important impulses for more sustainable milk production – for example through the milkmaster sustainability programme or climate workshops that support farmers in a practical, hands-on way.

In the video, farmers introduce themselves and share their experiences with Net Zero Farming.
