Three years ago, Arne Lübke, a farmer from the lovely district of Dithmarschen in Schleswig-Holstein, discovered road cycling for himself. And he's not just any average Joe, he's a real go-getter! This summer, the 44-year-old will be taking part in the “Race Across Germany”. This incredible challenge will see him cover a gruelling 1,000 kilometres in just two and a half days, starting in Flensburg and finishing in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. But it's not just about being physically fit for Arne; his mental health is just as important to him. By taking part in the tour, Arne Lübke is appealing to all farmers to take better care of themselves, to find a balance to their many tasks and thus to gain more strength for their farm and family.
