Guaranteeing consistently good quality has always been the norm at DMK plants. The value of this is now being demonstrated by another award: the plant in Zeven, which produces milk powder for the sophisticated customer MARS, outperformed almost 40 other dairy product suppliers in the EU.

"It's not that easy to win an award like this," says Vivian Voutsiotis, Key Account Manager Business Unit Ingredients at DMK. “Zeven can be proud of that.”

Most suppliers are currently scrambling to meet higher food standards and Mars is a pioneer in the industry with constantly rising quality expectations.

The inspectors thus appreciated the development to date and the efforts for constant improvement in Zeven in particular. According to Mars, DMK is a reliable partner and delivers very high quality, which is furthermore reflected in the low number of complaints. Additionally, the fast response rate in customer communication and problem solving is praised.

Among other positive aspects, Mars appreciates the high hygiene standards and the comprehensive quality control program. “We are thrilled about the award - it confirms DMK's successful path and underlines our role as a committed and trustworthy trading partner.”
